Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse, Medical-Surgical, required in a Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care.

• Certification:
  • Current active compact license
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Job Details:
    • Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
    • Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care
    • Requirements:
      • 1 year of Med/Surg experience (prefer 2 years)
      • 1 travel assignment required
      • Trauma level 1 or 2 required
      • Tele experience highly preferred
      • Recent EPIC experience required
      • Schedule:
        • Contract Length: 13 weeks
        • Start: 12/02, bi-weekly orientation
        • Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
        • Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights, 6:30-7
        • Float Requirement: first to float between Deaconess Midtown/Gateway (IN) campus and potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY - 11 miles)
        • Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend/every other holiday rotationUnit Information: Level II Trauma Facility, Acute Care, patient ratio 1:7Skills: Med/Surg, Renal, Observation, Oncology/Pulmonary, Ortho/Neuro/Trauma, CardiovascularAdditional Details: MS/Tele RNs, Nights, Deaconess Midtown, no local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
