  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start: 11/18 or 12/2 - Bi-weekly orientation
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)

    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/M/S, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
    • Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
    • Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
      • Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift.
        • Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes.
        • Patient Population: High acuity - Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis.
        • Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs

          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
