TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 About The Position Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse) Job Specialty: Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Ability to work in an acute care setting Job Description: - Work in a Medical Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring. - Manage a 32-bed unit where telemetry is applied based on physician orders. - Operate within a system that monitors telemetry 24/7. - Administer IV drips such as Dopamine (at a constant rate for renal perfusion) and Heparin, following treatment protocols. - Care for patients with maximum stable vent support and those requiring Bipap. - Serve renal patients dealing with acute or chronic renal failure, including those undergoing dialysis. - Address fluid overload and provide care for various medical and surgical patients. - Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, family practice physicians, and handle hospitalist overflow. - Utilize the Cerner Corporation PowerChart system for patient charting. - Follow the cancellation policy that allows the client to cancel up to two shifts per assignment for durations less than 13 weeks, and up to three shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or longer. 26111573EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Some travel nursing agencies provide opportunities for continuing education, allowing you to expand your knowledge base and stay updated on the latest advancements in healthcare.
